The Governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma Soludo, and the Senator representing Abia South Senatorial Constituency, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, pledged on Thursday to sack Governor Hope Uzodimma from the All Progressives Congress, APC, the same way it happened for the People's Party. Democratic Party, PDP, in Abia State under the leadership of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.
They stated this in Owerri while pointing to APGA candidate Tony Ejiogu's campaign for governor in Imo.
According to them, it was time to end the insecurity and poor governance in Imo State. They also said that Imo remained an APGA state and it was time to return it to APGA.
Governor Soludo, represented by his deputy, Onyekachukwu Ibezim, opined that: “We are campaigning in Imo because we won in Imo. It is therefore necessary that we unite and protect our votes. We must return and take back our lands. We have already done that. We will repeat it. We will begin to impress upon our people that it is time to do again what we have done before. As we did in Anambra. You saw what happened in Abia State. We will do it in the state IMO.
