Airstrike kills terror leader Ali Dogo and others in Kaduna raid – Report
A notorious terrorist in Kaduna State, Ali Dogo, and dozens of his fighters were reportedly killed by a Nigerian Air Force strike in the Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna.
The raid was reportedly carried out by the air component of Operation WHIRL Punch last weekend.
A security source told PRNigeria that Mr. Dogo and his accomplices fled Niger State to Giwa Local Government Area in Kaduna following intensified airstrikes on their former hideout.
The terrorists were hiding in the residence of a certain Alhaji Gwarzo at Yadi in the Giwa council area before being eliminated by the airstrikes.
The source reportedly said, "Unfortunately for Yellow and his fighters, while they were having a meeting, NAF planes hit Alhaji Gwarzo's house, killing everyone in the building, including Yellow" , said the source quoted by the newspaper.
Meanwhile, separate airstrikes targeted a terrorist site 33 km northwest of Mando in Kaduna, also killing many terrorists.

Nigerian Air Force spokesman Edward Gabkwet confirmed the airstrikes against PRNigeria, adding that the air component is complying with the directive of the Chief of Air Staff, Oladayo Amao, to support the offensive against terrorists.
He said the operation in conjunction with the land component and other security agencies will rid the “joint operations area” and indeed the entire northwest of terrorism and other crimes.
