Alex Jones faced with his own texts in court, lawyers accidentally leaked

Alex Jones struggles as he attends a defamation lawsuit brought by Sandy Hook's parents, including that cringe-worthy moment...where he was caught lying.< /p>

The InfoWars founder/host was on the stand to get grilled on Wednesday, where an attorney representing the parents suing Jones confronted him with his own text messages regarding the case — which he had previously denied having.

You have to watch this game... because it's quite embarrassing for AJ. Sandy Hook's attorney says Jones' legal team actually sent the things to him...apparently by mistake.

Jones makes a joke, saying Sandy Hook's lawyer was having a "Perry Mason moment"...but then was asked if he knows what perjury is, because SH's lawyer believed he was treading in substantial waters with his prior testimony and statements.

There have been plenty of other standout moments in the trial so far, including the judge reprimanding Jones for a number of things, like lying...and even chewing gum. Without risk of being mistaken, it does not suit him very well at the moment.

As to why he is being prosecuted... Jones is accused of spreading conspiracy theories about the 2012 massacre -- suggesting it was all a hoax, and that there were "crisis actors" playing the role of parents -- even if this is the case, the children's bodies were staged.

Much of this aired on InfoWars at the time - and since then Jones has given up on his theories...but the parents still want him to pay for what he did. Jones recently filed for bankruptcy...and said he was unable to pay a meaningful judgment.
