AMAC Marshal congratulates Maikalangu as council begins payment of salary arrears

The Marshal of Abuja City Council, popularly known as Marshal AMAC, has commended the Chairman of the Council, Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, for commencing the settlement of salary arrears owed to the organization for several months.

AMAC Marshal General Kashim Isiaku Karshi revealed this to reporters during a recent interview in his office at AMAC's permanent headquarters, Apo's relocation.

Karshi, while commending the President for settling some salary arrears, commended him for making funds available for the renewal of Marshal's operating license for this year to enable him to work.

His words: “I appreciate the efforts of the new AMAC President, Hon. Christopher Maikalangu for paying AMAC Marshal three months out of the few months we have left.

“I also want to draw her attention and that of other AMAC stakeholders to consider AMAC Marshal as an AMAC project. She is non-religious, non-tribal and non-political. at home to take responsibility for our communities' safety.

The Marshal General recalled that the organization of security, during its initial phase, had achieved good results in the fight against insecurity within the Council.

Karshi, however, lamented that the Marshal's officers' lack of welfare had become a major challenge during past administrations, even though he wanted to: "We want to continue on this high note. Calling for the strengthening of the security team to improve the provision of security services in the regional council, the Marshal General revealed that his organization generally assists conventional security agencies, including the police, the Department of State Security (DSS) and Military in controlling criminal activities within the Council.

He also said that if the AMAC allowed the Marshal to operate independently, he would be able to pay his own salaries and also pay the Council, as well as employ more young people, removing them from the workforce. street.
