Aribo scores as Saints hold Leeds

Southampton came from two goals down to salvage a point and end a five-game Premier League losing streak with a draw against Leeds.

Kyle Walker-Peters fired the 81st-minute equalizer from a sharp angle after summer signing Joe Aribo came off the bench to open his account for the club.

Rodrigo had put Leeds ahead with two goals in 15 second-half minutes as the visitors looked to maintain their winning start to the season.

The Spanish striker met Jack Harrison's try cross with a dazzling finish to open the scoring, before heading into Pascal Struijk's goal for his second.

Saints debutant Sekou Mara played an influential role off the bench with the precise ball for the Walker-Peters equalizer, and he came close to winning it late, but his ferocious strike was well saved by Illan Meslier.

Leeds remain unbeaten after their first two games and climb to fourth in the table, while the Saints fall from the bottom of the table and climb to 15th place.
