The Managing Director of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Council, Governor Aminu Tambuwal, has said that the PDP's standard bearer, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, will launch his campaign next Monday in Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom State.< /p>

According to Tambuwal, the PDP will campaign according to the issues affecting the country, adding that “Atiku is very well prepared to provide the leadership required for this country at this time.”

Tambuwal made the revelation in Abuja on Tuesday during a press conference after the inspection of Atiku's campaign office.

“We are happy to report to you and Nigerians that the campaign is ready to start,” said Tambuwal. “By the grace of God, we are launching the campaign this Monday, October 10, 2023 in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. All arrangements have been made for the campaign flag to be very successful.

“Our campaign will be problem-based. We will market our candidates based on the program we have in place, which is generally solution-based.

“Atiku is very well prepared to provide the leadership required for this country at this time. He has experience in governance at the federal level, which I believe no other candidate can match. time for Nigerians to do trial and error.

"It's time for Nigerians to give it to the person who has been tested and has the experience to do a good job, who would be on the rails from day one like we did for the inauguration of the campaign council on the th day, the CENI lifted the ban on campaigning for the presidential election campaign on the 28th. Asked about internal party squabbles and how to work with aggrieved colleagues, Tambuwal said: "We are not involved in a war of attrition. This is a political disagreement and we are trying to resolve all these problems."

He also spoke about Atiku's popularity in the Southeast, saying, "We've traveled to every nook and cranny of this country, especially the states before the primary campaign, and he was in the South East. Just last week, we were in Enugu, the political capital of this region, for consultations. No state during the consultation will be omitted.
