Banshees of Inisherin: Film set pub is saved and opens

Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson and Jenny the donkey walk into a bar.. .
OK, that's not such a funny story - or maybe more of an extremely funny story dark, as anyone who has seen Martin McDonagh's acclaimed film The Banshees of Inisherin can attest.
But now the pub where much of the action of the film was saved from scrap metal by a publican on a mission.
Cinephiles and tourists can enjoy a pint in JJ Devine's pub, where Colin, Brendan and Jenny all showed off while filming the Oscar-nominated film, which was rebuilt in County Galway.
Devine made a long journey by lorry, being moved from Achill Island where the film was shot to Kilkerrin where publican Luke Mee of the Mee pub keeps the seats warm for film buffs around the world.
