Speaking on the state of insecurity in the country, he urged the federal government to strengthen local security and allow Amotekun to carry weapons, adding that state governments should be ready to purchase ammunition capable of resisting these terrorists.

"If the government is not prepared to protect the life and property of its citizens, then Nigerians should defend themselves using all available means. Men of God should become men like Elijah whose word would be strong enough to disarm enemies without carrying any physical weapons.
