Was being a musician a childhood dream?

Yes, music is a childhood dream. It's something that excites me and inspires me. Music is more like an antidote to me.

What inspires you?

I am inspired by different means. My inspiration comes from God. It can come as a message or in a dream. I also draw inspiration from my current challenges and difficulties. Sometimes songs come naturally to me.

What challenges did you face on your way to stardom?

I took on several challenges. Sometimes some people would contact me but. I found out later that they only wanted me to warm their bed. Moreover, some invite me and my team without paying a penny. Ogbogofolemi is a song about God's mercy. There are many better singers than me but God has brought me this far anyway.

What else do you do besides music?

I'm actually into a lot of things outside of music and that includes embellishment, beadwork, and thread work.

Has fame deprived you of anything?

Yes, fame deprived me of several things. I can no longer move freely like before, my way of dressing, my appearance and my way of speaking have changed.
