Beyoncé breaks record for most Grammys won by any artist

Beyoncé has just reached a new milestone in her career... she is now the most awarded artist in Grammys history, breaking a long-standing record that has stood since 1998.

The singer won her 32nd Grammy Award relatively early on Sunday night, taking home the honor for Best Dance/Electronic Album to put her at the top. She can easily win more, because there are even more awards to be won – and she's up for some of the biggest categories yet to be announced – including Album of the Year, Record of the year and the song of the year. /p>

She won Best R&B Song earlier that night for “Cuff It” for Grammy 31.

Before the show even started, she earned her 29th and 30th wins for Best Dance/Electronic Recording and Best Traditional R&B Performance for two songs from "Renaissance," respectively. That put her one win away from conductor Georg Solti.

While Bey may have just knocked Georg off the list of most wins, she had already secured her spot as the most nominated artist of all time - sharing that mantle with her husband, Jay-Z, at 88. Paul McCartney is below them at 81 nominations and Quincy Jones at 80.

Hard to say if anyone will ever really come close to what Beyoncé has accomplished here – there are certainly other heavyweights who have...
