Aaron Chalmers has confirmed to Express Sport that he is pursuing a two-fight deal with Jake Paul for a doubleheader of MMA and boxing. The ex-Geordie Shore star hopes to close the deal after his upcoming exhibition bout with Floyd Mayweather.

Speaking exclusively to Express Sport, he said: "I'm fine with the PFL that Jake has signed for so we're going to sit down when they're at Newcastle. I'm going to work a bit with them in March and we'll see if we can find something to get a crossover double fight between me and Jake in MMA and boxing.

"That would be huge because Jake's bread and butter is boxing and mine is MMA, so that's two interesting fights. I was just talking to James [Ferwin] (PFL Senior Vice President) about the PFL yesterday and I said 'what are the odds' and he added 'after the Floyd fight, that's definitely something we can look at doing'.

"So if we can get me and Jake to finish later in the year in boxing, we can do it again around Christmas in PFL."
