(BREAKING): Bandits attack Katsina government bus, kidnap dozens of passengers
Armed bandits attacked a Katsina State Mass Transit (KTSTA) bus traveling on Jibia-Katsina Road, killing the driver on the spot and abducting dozens of passengers.
The 32-seat Coaster bus was en route from Jibia to Katsina, loaded mostly with traders from the Jibia border market.
Residents of the village of Daddara, near the scene of the attack, said the vehicle was attacked around noon on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the State Police Command had yet to confirm the incident at the time of this report.
