BREAKING: DSS gives NNPCL 48 hours to resolve fuel shortage

The Department of State Services has given the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited and other downstream sector stakeholders 48 hours to end the continuing fuel shortage across the country.

Speaking to reporters at the DSS headquarters in Abuja on Thursday, spokesman Peter Afunanya said they had held a closed meeting with stakeholders who had agreed to end the shortage.

He said all DSS orders have been placed on red alert and will begin operations to get defaulters to book.
