Britney Spears' father Jamie breaks silence on guardianship

Britney Spears' father, Jamie Spears, opens up about guardianship and his role in it for the first time...defending the legal system as necessary.
Jamie spoke to the Daily Mail, explaining that he felt like he had saved Britney's life and career by putting her under conservatorship all those years ago... noting that for a time , it was working pretty well for her -- getting her back on track musically/performing.
He says, "Not everyone will agree with me. It's been a hell of a time. But I love my daughter with all my heart and soul. Where would Britney be without this guardianship? And I don't like to know if she would be alive. I don't know."
JS also says that guardianship allowed Britney to have a relationship with her children -- Jayden and Sean -- adding..."To protect her, and also to protect the children, guardianship was a great tool. Without her, I don't think she would have gotten the kids back."
