While Taylor Swift was on her Eras tour, a certain Swiftie was using the star's music to get her law degree.

Regan Caie, a law student at the University of Glasgow, wrote her fourth year dissertation on Swift's re-recorded albums and copyright law.

The music star re-recorded and re-released four of his first six albums following a copyright dispute with producer and talent manager Scooter Braun.

Regan, 21, said her thesis combined her love of Swift's music. with her ambition to eventually specialize in copyright and intellectual property law.

Last year, Taylor Swift made headlines during her Eras Tour - the highest-grossing concert tour of all time.

Now the star is bound for Scotland's rugby stadium, Murrayfield Stadium, with more than 200,000 Swifties set to flock. in Edinburgh for three shows June 7-9.

Regan has tickets for the tour and joked that people won't stop telling her to bring her thesis with her.

"Actually, I can't wait, I'm so excited," she said. "We're already planning our outfits."
