Cher Sparks engagement rumors after showing off diamond ring

Cher is either engaged or trolling...and we don't know what it is because the rock she's showing off certainly looks like something you get when someone wants to marry you.
The singer posted a photo of a huge diamond ring on Sunday that she says her boyfriend, Alexander A.E. Edwards, gave her for Christmas — and although it could certainly go on any finger ... there is a lot of speculation about THIS finger.
Unfortunately, Cher doesn't give many clues here. All she wrote was "THERE ARE NO WORDS, ALEXANDER, A.E." She then noted that it was her hands that held the box.
Of course, the internet is crashing over the fact that Cher might be engaged again. She hasn't been married since Gregg Allman in the mid to late 70s, and obviously Sonny Bono before that. She's dated a lot of people since...including some pretty famous men like Gene Simmons, Tom Cruise, Val Kilmer, Richie Sambora, Warren Beatty and more.

Neither relationship has ever made it to marriage...and if she is, in fact, about to walk down the aisle with A.E., that would be pretty amazing - especially since they have only been dating for a few months now.
While we know they met in September, they only went public as a couple a month ago and have moved on...so a potential proposal is clearly moving things along quickly, if it's is what is really happening. Then again, it could just be a regular diamond ring...right?
