Megan Thee Stallion described in moving court testimony her "shock" as fellow rapper Tory Lanez allegedly opened fire on her.
"I can't believe I have to come here and do this," she told a jury in Los Angeles.
Grammy-winning rapper said she was shot in the feet after leaving a pool party at Kylie Jenner's house.
< p class="ssrcss- 1q0x1qg-Paragraph eq5iqo00">Jurors heard that she insulted the defendant and asked to get out of a luxury car before he fired five shots at her.
The rapper, whose real name is 27-year-old Megan Pete, testified that his alleged attacker became furious after he disparaged his musical talent.
She said the 30-year-old defendant, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, told her to "dance" before opening fire during of the incident in Hollywood Hills on July 12, 2020.
He denies multiple gun and assault charges related to a dispute with the entertainer Savage. If convicted, he faces up to 23 years in prison.
