Danielle Fishel almost missed her big chance to build an entire career on the role of Topanga Lawrence in Boy Meets World. In the latest episode of the podcast, the actress, 41, has confessed that series creator Michael Jacobs threatened to fire her on the first day of her new job. The self-proclaimed “brave” young actress was just 12 at the time, and she said her perky nature irritated Michael. She was "bubbly, fast [and] brave," she said on the podcast, adding that it was "very difficult to speak slowly" for her.
