Dick Van Dyke Shows His Accidental Injuries in New Photos

Dick Van Dyke showed his battle injuries Friday after his recent car accident, saying the airbags did not deploy in the crash.

The beloved 'Mary Poppins' icon, 97, was spotted with his wife, Arlene Silver, 51, and a younger friend.

Van Dyke pointed to two stitches in his chin after his car accident last week..."I'm fine, I just hurt all over"...assuring people he was "pretty fine" .

"The airbags didn't deploy so I just had a facial plant in the steering wheel and it just made me a little dumber," he joked, with his infamous smile.

He brushed off concerns about his well-being, saying he was doing relatively well..."I'm 97 - all my friends are dead."

The famous actor crashed his silver Lexus earlier this month into a door in Malibu while driving in wet conditions, apparently losing control of the steering wheel.
