Disney: Bob Iger begins major overhaul after returning to company

Less than 24 hours after his shock return to As Disney's chief executive, Bob Iger says he's planning a major overhaul of the company.
One of his first steps resulted in the departure of the head of the Media and Entertainment Distribution Division company, Kareem Daniel.
Mr. Daniel was a close ally of the media giant's former boss, Bob Chapek. general less than a year after retiring from the company.
In a message to employees, seen by the BBC, Mr Iger said " I intend to restructure things in a way that honors and respects creativity as the heart and soul of who we are."
" I fundamentally believe that storytelling is what powers this business, and it's central to how we run our business," he said in the email.
He said he tasked a group of executives with designing "a new structure that puts more decisions in the hands of our creative teams and streamlines costs".
