Donald Trump slams Brittney Griner for going to Russia 'laden with drugs'

Donald Trump hits out at Brittney Griner, accusing 'potentially spoiled' WNBA star of 'drug-filled' trip to Moscow, and shelving idea of trading BG for arms dealer Russian...all in a new interview.
Trump, 76, recently appeared on the "Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show" where he was asked about the detention of Griner, 31, in Russia.
"She went there loaded with drugs in hostile territory where they're very vigilant about drugs. They don't like drugs, and she got caught," Trump said.< /p>
"And, now, we're supposed to get her out, and she's making, you know, a lot of money, I guess. We're supposed to get her out for an absolute killer and one of the biggest traffickers of weapons in the world. Killed a lot of Americans. Killed a lot of people."
"Drug-loaded" does not exactly match known information. Griner, in court, admitted to accidentally bringing marijuana which she says was prescribed by a doctor in the United States to help deal with pain from old hoop injuries, instead of taking potent painkillers.
"That sure doesn't sound like a very good job, does it? He's absolutely one of the worst in the world and he's going to be released because a potentially spoiled person walks into Russia high on drugs ", Trump tells Travis and Sexton.
