"We want to continue arresting these individuals to deter those who engage in criminal offenses such as circumvention, illegal logging, charge hijacking and others.

"BEDC's new management will not accept any breach that will result in loss of revenue. We aim to get this company out of the hood in a very, very short time.

“I want to thank the media for joining us in this crusade against these people who continue to steal our energy. We want to make sure that whatever energy we sell, the revenue comes back to the company and not in the pocket of an individual.

“We have just started, over the next few weeks about 14 people will be arrested and prosecuted, we have already identified them,” she said.

She also said the spotlight was on unscrupulous personnel, adding that the exercise was continuing in Edo, Delta, Ondo and Ekiti.
