The first trailer was released on September 24, 2022, during Netflix's TUDUM event. Footage revealed that Enola had set up her own detective agency, but was struggling to find clients. When a young girl needs help finding her missing sister, Enola quickly jumps on the case.
Enola springs into action as she searches for clues. She goes to great lengths to get the answers she needs. "You can't control Enola Holmes. It's a force of nature,” says Edith. After a small argument, Enola and Sherlock realize that they are both working on the same case.
