"My main objective in participating in the gubernatorial election was to lift many people out of abject poverty of pocket, mind, body and soul.

"My mission was to fully develop Enugu and reposition the state for growth while lifting many people out of abject poverty, from despair to complete hope.

"My plan was to develop Enugu by building structures to exploit the comparative advantage our state has over other sub-national entities in Nigeria.

"My goal was to build a multifaceted economy, modern infrastructure in urban and rural areas, focus on the development of the agricultural sector, diversify the energy sector by investing in renewable energy, to improve the transport system, to provide a cleaner environment that would prevent the effect of climate change, creating a welcoming environment that will make Enugu state the destination of choice for private investors.”

The AAC candidate had, before the guber election, promised that his administration would pay the minimum wage of 50,000 naira to workers in Enugu if he was elected Governor of Enugu.
