EPL: I'm really happy for him - Thierry Henry hails Arsenal star

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has expressed his delight for youngster Folarin Balogun.

The England U-21 star is impressing on loan at French club Reims where he moved on loan in August.

Balogun has five goals and two assists in just six games and hopes to use his loan time to impress Mikel Arteta and break into the Arsenal first team.

The 21-year-old's performances have already caught the eye of the legendary Henry who told Amazon Prime Video Sport France: "I'm really happy for him because usually English players don't go abroad.

"Normally players are loaned either to another Premier League team or in the Championship.

"He is now starting to score regularly and I am happy about that - happy that he has gone abroad."

Despite losing to Manchester United last weekend, the Gunners remain top of the Premier League, having won five of their six league games.

But Mikel Arteta's side were unable to extend their lead in the standings this weekend as all games were suspended following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
