EPL: That's the end of the matter - Ten Hag forgives Marcus Rashford after Man United win 1-0

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has said he has forgiven Marcus Rashford's disciplinary problems.

Manchester United started the match against Wolves on Saturday without Marcus Rashford who was dropped on the bench.

The 24-year-old was dropped from the starting XI due to an 'internal discipline' issue.

Ten Hag also said the England international would be replaced by young Argentina star Alejandro Garnacho.

Rashford, Manchester United's top scorer this season, then came off the bench in the second half to score the winner for the Red Devils.

Asked about Rashford's post-match performance after being dropped from the starting XI, Ten Hag told Premier League Productions:

"It was good. After the decision he made and was sharp, he scored a goal which was a good reaction.

"Of course, that's the end of the matter. But everyone knows the rules that if you work like that, that's the right answer."
