F1 LIVE: Lewis Hamilton receives good news as FIA chief issues warning to Max Verstappen
While Lewis Hamilton may not be the man to replace Sergio Perez at Red Bull, Dutch racing driver Tom Coronel believes Alex Albon could return to the Austrian team and join Max Verstappen.
"Look, the question is, how fast do you want to put someone in that seat?" Coronel said on the RacingNews365 podcast. "And we always see that at Red Bull, Dr Helmut Marko says 'that's him' and throws them straight into the deep end, that's actually what he does. And then it's to see if they float. It almost never happens. [Pierre] Gasly is broken, [Daniel] Ricciardo has disappeared with his tail between his legs.
“Albon could still give you a chance, because at least he has the experience now. There is peace in this man, so I would really like to see him back in a top team. does it at times when it needs to happen."
