"It can be difficult when your job doesn't involve any creativity, but you feel you have need to be creative and you have a creative side," says Scherer, who uses the pronouns she/they. "Coming into an office every day where it can feel daunting and you don't necessarily see the windows and it lacks color - for me, I was looking for something to find an outlet for self-expression and my clothes have always been a piece of self-expression for me.

Scherer started sharing her looks on Instagram in February 2020. The influencer slowly built her following over the past two years, now boasting over 16,700 subscribers. Scherer's colorful outfits and uplifting videos have caught the attention of several brands that have leveraged them for partnerships, like Hush Puppies Sock Candy.
