"I just felt alienated. The other kids were still progressing, and I was stuck writing the same lines over and over. with his work spanning the fashion hubs of London, Paris and Seoul.
Although he may have now been picked up by Gucci and Converse, the path to recognition has not been easy - due to his dyslexia issues.
The 27-year-old young man, known as Nav, spent many years of his childhood with undiagnosed dyslexia and he feels that he 'retained at school.
"I just thought that was pretty embarrassing," he says, as he remembers being went to school and had to sit with a member of staff in class.
"I felt like I didn't have the right to go to school properly."
Being of South Asian descent, Nav believes the delay in his diagnosis was due to the stigma surrounding learning disabilities in his community.
"Brown parents wouldn't like to admit their child has dyslexia, so they won't even have him tested."
