Hope Uzodinma elected PGF chair by APC governors

Governors elected on the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform on Wednesday elected Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma as the chair of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF).

This was confirmed by Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni during the meeting with the APC National Working Committee (NWC) in Abuja.

Addressing the party leadership at the meeting, Uzodinma said, "Under my leadership, we will be very close to the party.

“The purpose of the forum is to give a new impetus to the activities of the party and the government. We will only act as sellers who will market the policies and programs of the government.”

The Governor of Imo further noted that; “Following from the manifesto promised to the people before the election, I can assure you that you have a team and that you are working with the kind of men that I have seen as progressive members of the governors, I think we have obtained all what it would take to ensure that our government's policies were fully market driven. »
