Jimmy Jatt opened up about his condition in a documentary filmed at Zenith Medical and Kidney Center in Abuja and posted on his verified Instagram account.

The short documentary showed his medical journey from his consultations, his surgery and his post-transplant months.

The narrator's voiceover, Dr. Thelma, revealed that she met Jimmy Jatt at the Zenith Medical and Kidney Center branch in Lagos.

There, the 54-year-old celebrity told him of his diagnosis and that he had started dialysis.

She revealed that her conversation convinced him to undergo his kidney transplant in Nigeria.
