How My Wife Dumped Me - Julius Agwu
A popular comedian, Julius Agwu, has confirmed the end of his marriage to Ibiere (née Maclayton). He claimed his wife said she was tired of being married to him.
Earlier in the year, there were reports that their marriage had hit the rocks. Sunday Scoop then contacted the comedian, but he declined to comment.
However, in a recent interview with media personality, Ifedayo Olarinde aka Freeze, Agwu said, “My wife said she wouldn't marry me again. She said she was tired of marriage. That's why I thank God for being alive. I have a saying that "Satan works in mysterious ways and God works in miraculous ways".
When asked about his children, the comedian replied, "My children are in the United States of America. They are fine."
Reliving his experience battling brain tumours, he said: "There were no rumors about my health. It's true. I wanted to calm down for a while. I had surgery in 2015 to remove some tumors from my brain.I came back to Nigeria and did a thanksgiving service.After that I traveled to London, UK in 2016 for a show. But, just two days before my show in London, I was rushed to hospital. I was in a coma for three months; and I can only thank God that I am alive. ."
However, in the comments following the interview, some social media users asked the comedian what he did to his ex-wife that she was no longer interested in the union that lasted about 14 years.
It was even then that some congratulated him for having had the courage to speak about it.
