According to him, the NSCDC has developed plans to deploy all necessary resources to provide security during the election.

"The body is ready to use all necessary arsenals to ensure the security and safety of the elections.

"We have an operations department of over 30,000 people, but we will also deploy more when the time comes.

“Normally, we have most of our personnel in operations and those who are in operations participate in the electoral processes,” he said.

Audi said the body has also made plans to begin seminars and workshops in October to discuss the organization's readiness for the general election.

"We want to tell our people that if you're going to get involved by becoming a fan, you're on your own.

“There are some things that we have introduced into our standard operating procedure: once you become a partisan and get caught, you will face penalties and be on your own.

"So we are ready to participate in the elections as I said because we are apolitical and we will provide fair conditions for all citizens to participate in the elections and exercise their right to vote."< /p>

Audi said the NSCDC participated in election activities because it is a member of the Inter-Agency Advisory Committee on Election Security.
