I am proud to represent Nigeria at Miss Africa Calabar 2022 —Precious Okoye

As the Miss Africa Calabar 2022 beauty pageant approaches, 20 contestants from across Africa will converge on Calabar, the capital of Cross River State. Nigeria's representative in the beauty pageant, Precious Okoye, has called on Nigerians to support her as she fights for the coveted crown, saying she feels proud to represent the country.

The event to be held on December 27 will receive dignitaries from across Africa and beyond as the new beauty queen sings.

Talking about her participation, Okoye said that representing Nigeria in the contest is a dream come true for her as it took her a very long process to get there, adding that she had strictly followed the contest since 2016 when it started.< /p>

According to Okoye, who has also featured in music videos of Omah Lay, Kaywise with Tclassic, Simi with Patoranking and others, said representing Nigeria is an act of service and a sense of responsibility for her, adding that “It has always been the greatest attributes and with a heart of gratitude. I am so grateful to Almighty God for bringing me this far”

The former Miss Polo Nigeria added that the platform “will enable me to tell my story, empower the youth and fly the flag of my country high with so much pride and I look forward to doing my best to make Nigerians proud". she added.
