Mr. Okoye revealed that the commission also approved the reappointment of commission secretary Rose Oriaran-Anthony for a second and final four-year term, effective December 7, in accordance with section 8 of the law. electoral. , 2022.

Ms. Oriaran-Anthony is from Edo. She holds a Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) in Language Arts from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Abuja and another Masters in Public Communication and Public Relations from the University of Westminster, UK.

She is the second female secretary of the commission and the first to have her mandate renewed.
