He told the DAILY POST, Kaduna on Tuesday that Nigerians should forget about the 2023 elections, adding that all the preparations and hope for change is worthless if insecurity continues unchecked.

According to him, in so many northern communities, residents have deserted their homes, many have lost their lives, and many are not interested in getting their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) back because they are looking for what their families want to eat.

He said that in some communities in the north, the bandits are busy preaching, persuading the villagers that they are better off, taking care of them, providing for their basic needs, and protecting them from harm. attacks, thus deceiving them that there is no government.

"Do you think these bandits controlling some local governments in the north, and the bandit kingpin recently installed in one of the northern states, will allow people to vote in 2023?

"Do you think the fears will allow INEC officials and the poll clerk to hold elections in high-risk areas?" He asked.

Kokonba, who said he had better not be a university professor, further chastised the federal government for suspending their salaries in the event of a strike.

He noted that if the strike continues until the election period, who will serve as the collation officer, among other senior officials, who will assist in the conduct of the 2023 elections.

He claimed that the president is even ready to hand over to bandit leaders, whose representatives are present in the police, the army, the navy, the air force and above all, many of them. they are now on recruiting lists or newly recruited forces across the country.

He said that as these criminals take over communities, they will evolve to take over local, state and federal government.
