'Danger! Masters host Ken Jennings turns down rematch with James Holzhauer

The "Jeopardy! Masters" tournament has brought Ken Jennings' nemesis back into the game, but don't expect Ken to give in to the slander thrown at him: he tells us he hung up his phone. buzzer for good.

Ken joined us Tuesday on "TMZ Live" to meet James Holzhauer, who is playing in the "Masters" tournament again...and who called Ken during Monday night's episode. 'Danger!' fans know that Ken and James have long been considered No. 1 and No. 2 in the all-time rankings — they faced off in 2020's 'G.O.A.T. (The greatest tournament of all time), and Ken emerged victorious.

Last night James asked Ken to give him a rematch, but KJ told us that wouldn't happen. He says he's glad he beat James once...plus he likes being the host now, instead of playing.

For now, Holzhauer will have to settle for taking on 5 other champions for a prize of $500,000 and a Trebek Trophy.

Ken says he's excited to watch the action from his home podium, adding that...the competition is already very fierce.

In Ken's eyes, he's ready to make way for another all-time champion as the "Masters" tournament continues.
