Ketamine therapy expands in the United States and Canada with this new Montreal clinic

Forensic ketamine-assisted therapy for people with diagnosed mental disorders continues to grow in the United States and Canada.

Numinus Wellness Inc. NUMIF announced the opening of a second Canadian-based clinic within a week offering multiple therapeutic modalities for the treatment of disorders such as depression, addiction, trauma and anxiety to adapt to different needs and financial means of the client.

The new Montreal-based facility will replace an existing clinic and provide expanded ketamine-assisted treatments, including multiple treatment options such as Spravato, intramuscular delivery, lozenges and nasal spray combined with different treatment durations and session types.

In addition to Numinus' current six-week ketamine-assisted therapy program, the new services will include the ability to access ketamine as a stand-alone treatment for clients to complement prior ketamine-assisted therapy, use as an emergency antidepressant or in combination with outpatient therapy.

Separately, the company will continue to support access to psilocybin and MDMA-assisted therapies for customers in need through Health's Special Access Program (SAP) Canada in the new establishment as well as its 13 other centers across Canada and the United States.

A key partnership for veteran access to SPRAVATO

Delic Holdings Corp subsidiary DELCF Ketamine Wellness Centers (KWC) continued to work with the Veterans Administration Community Care Network (VA-CCN) to cover SPRAVATO treatments at select clinics.

Previously established partnership offered ketamine-assisted therapy to veterans with PTSD, major depression, and chronic pain at no cost at KWC Naperville, Illinois, and Burnsville, Minnesota sites .< /p>

The new partnership will allow VA-CCN-approved patients with treatment-resistant depression (TRD) to access therapy, consisting of esketamine nasal spray in combination with a oral depressant, at KWC clinics located in Mesa, Tucson, Phoenix, Denver, Seattle, Reno, Las Vegas, Houston and Dallas.

Patients pursuing this treatment option will first meet with KWC intake and screening teams to ensure that SPRAVATO is the most effective option for them.

In addition to the network partnership, the company is offering a hero discount at clinics nationwide to cover partial treatment costs for veterans and first responders.

CEO Kevin Nicholson said the current collaboration has allowed them "to better serve these men and women and deliver treatments like Spravato with long-term positive benefits that reach the root cause. They have sacrificed so much for this country and we are committed to helping those who may need support recover and regain control of their lives."

KWC provides ketamine-assisted IV therapy at its 13 clinics in the United States. Since beginning to provide services in 2011, the company is now approaching 100,000 treatments for clinically eligible patients, from young adults to seniors, while developing specialized programs for veterans and first responders, such as under the current partnership.
