Kevin Costner says his ex-wife scammed him badly following their divorce...buying personal items and withdrawing money with credit cards from staff who run the family home...and Kevin's attorney believes there's evidence she hatched this plan long before she filed for divorce.
Costner filed legal documents on Thursday, claiming that Christine Baumgartner "has shown a disturbing propensity in recent months, before and after the separation, to take ownership of [Kevin] without his knowledge or consent, especially since this case was filed."

The new documents claim that Christine paid a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney $25,000 from Kevin's own funds, without his knowledge. As to why she needed a criminal defense attorney...no explanation for that.
