Lion Forge Entertainment and Nickelodeon Animation Ink First Look Offer for Series and Feature Films

EXCLUSIVE: Lion Forge Entertainment, the company behind the Oscar-winning film Hair Love , and Nickelodeon Animation are teaming up on a first-look deal spanning animated series and feature films, with a commitment to creating content that features diverse voices in front of and behind the camera.
Under the pact, Nickelodeon Animation will get a first look at all of Lion's kids and family IPs Forge Entertainment across anime series, feature films, short films and digital content. The company may also bring selected Nickelodeon and Paramount IPs to Lion Forge for development and production.
Lion Forge Entertainment will also have the option to co-finance certain projects the company brings to Nickelodeon, such as as well as serve as the animation studio on select Nickelodeon projects.
Initial projects identified for potential development include Born Driven a story based about the life of Wendell Scott, NASCAR's first black driver; the comedy adventure Iron Dragon, based on an original IP created by Jay Kim at Motapes studio in South Korea and Lion Forge; and Marley and the Family Band an animated series based on the picture book by Cedella Marley, co-produced by Polygram Entertainment.
