Liverpool will bank around £50m a year with an extended deal with Standard Chartered

July 14 – Liverpool have extended their shirt sponsorship deal with Standard Chartered Bank for another four years.

The new deal will last until the end of the 2026-27 season, extending the partnership to 17 years. The extension is said to be worth £50m a year, an increase of £10m on the previous deal. In 2010, Standard Chartered took over from Carlsberg as the club's shirt sponsor.

For the past few months, Liverpool were supposed to be in negotiations with other potential sponsors, including cryptocurrency companies, but eventually the Merseyside club extended with Standard Chartered.

"This is a hugely important partnership for LFC and I couldn't be more proud to confirm a four-year extension to our already long and successful partnership with Standard Chartered," said the Liverpool CEO, Billy Hogan.
