Lutz Huelle RTW Fall 2023

Lutz Huelle spoke passionately about each piece from the fall 2023 collection in his studio on rue de Temple.< /p>

He came up with a simple solution to add a bit of glamor and edge to the everyday life of those who haven't necessarily have a wardrobe full of designer fashions.

The idea of adding sequins to the sleeves of shirts, or putting the buttons on the back of a cardigan or jacket may seem simple, but it's an effective way to make one stand out at office parties or date nights.

Alpha Industries denim jackets and bomber jackets have been cut and pieced together with additional fabric at the environment. The back of the garments has been raised, creating a more dramatic silhouette on the body. He added a raincoat cut like a large square and a wool pinstripe version for colder climates.

For the more sophisticated, Huelle offered a host of raised taffeta pieces. His personal favorites were brown pieces, which included a stylish tulip-sleeved baseball jacket. There were also beautiful loose vests with ombre sequins which he paired with vintage jeans reworked with a touch of silver foil.

Huelle said that with this collection, he hopes his customers can easily mix and match pieces they bought five or 10 years ago, and continue to wear them for many decades.

"I always liked the idea of having your favorite parts, something you want wear it all the time,” he said.
