In a conversation with Carol Burnett for Interview magazine, Ryan reflects on the scene where her character Sally showcases her fake orgasm skills to Harry from Billy Crystal. The scene takes place in the middle of a bustling grocery store and has remained iconic for moviegoers for decades. However, Ryan's children, Daisy True Ryan and Jack Quaid, don't seem to think the same way.
"It's funny my son just called me this morning and he's in New York at a hotel that's right across from Katz's Deli. My daughter was there and everyone was on speakerphone, and they were like, 'Mom, this is a very unique embarrassment,'" Ryan told Burnett.
She continued, "He said, 'You know, you can go to this grocery store and he there's an arrow pointing to the table where you shot this scene.'"
Quaid was open about his thoughts on his mother's famous orgasm scene. In 2018, the The Boys actor shared that he recently watched the romantic comedy for the first time.
"Guys, when your mom has one of the most famous orgasm scenes of them all times, you don't. go to the movie, okay? I saw it because I was doing a romantic comedy, and it's like the romantic comedy," he said during a panel for EW "And I looked at her, and then afterwards, I cried for so long, because I was so proud of her, and I immediately called her, and I was like, 'I'm so sorry. to have missed this movie.'
