Mexican Grand Prix highlights: Hamilton loses Verstappen battle as Dutchman sets F1 record

Paul Di Resta thinks the 811-metre run to turn one could be eventful for the drivers at the front of the grid, with pole sitter Max Verstappen set to lead the Mercedes duo of George Russell and Lewis Hamilton off the line.

"I think it could get very fruity at turn one here, I just don't see how these riders' ego [isn't a factor] and they know the impact of what they can do in the early laps, they can make the difference," Di Resta told Sky Sports F1.

"That's Hamilton versus Russell, we saw that in Austin where they were ready to go wheel to wheel, and Max has nothing to lose so he'll do whatever he can.

"Checo is in the mix, he played Lewis very firmly when he ran him wheel to wheel. Silverstone is the one that stands out for me."
