Christiana Igbokwe, a child artist and granddaughter of the late singer, Christy Essien-Igbokwe, said she was inspired by her grandmother's songs and wanted to be taller than Michael Jackson.

In an interview with Sunday Scoop, she said: "The challenges I face are in managing my music career and my schoolwork. I try to put my education first. A Another challenge is collaborating with some people who think I'm too young to make music. I always remind them that Michael Jackson started singing at the age of five and became the king of pop. . I believe that one day I will be bigger than Micheal Jackson."

On how she combines her music career with academics, she said, "It's easy to do the things you love. I attend my academics before music and I practice on my piano after doing my homework. Also, I only go to music school on the weekends. It takes a lot of hard work, discipline and dedication to combine the two.

"Sometimes I usually have interviews scheduled during school hours. However, my parents try to reschedule them on weekends."

On career highlights, she said, "They include the release of my debut album Extended Play and the remake of my grandmother's hit song Seun Rere.

"I listen to my grandmother's songs a lot and they speak to me. I am inspired by her works because they encourage children to read the Bible and work hard. I also learned stories I've heard about him on how to love and help people.

"Right now I'm working on my first album and my dad will produce most of the songs on it."
