Over 5,000 APC members defect to PDP in Kogi
Over 5,000 members of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kogi State have defected to join the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
APC members defected to the PDP on Sunday in Avrugo and nearby ward of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area in Kogi State.
Former Deputy Chairman of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government, Adama de Hon Collins, who led other party members to defect to PDP, says APC let down Nigerians.
According to him, it is time for Nigerians to vote against the wrong leaders in the 2023 general elections, stressing that any mistake made now would be catastrophic for the nation.
Adama, who was received into the PDP family by the PDP Chairman of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government, Hon. Attai Ndamusa Salifu and the party's National Assembly candidate, Hon. Umar Zakito , also said that the ruling APC should be ready to wrap up its charge from both Kogi State and national level.
