Oyo: A mentally unstable woman gives birth in an unfinished building
A mentally unstable woman who identified herself as Lara gave birth to a baby boy in Ayileka Street, Odo-Ona Apata in the Government Area local of Ido in Oyo State.
The lady, believed to be between 25 and 30 years old, gave birth on Sunday in an unfinished building around 3:00 p.m. on Ayileka Street, behind Gas Station of Bova, Odo-Ona Apata.
Verifications by PUNCH Metro revealed that the mentally deranged dark-skinned woman was inconsistent in her speech.
Our correspondent further learned that the incident was reported to Odo Ona Apata police station, while the Ministry of Women Affairs and Welfare had also been contacted.< /p>
At the time of filing this report, both mother and child are doing well in a private hospital.
