Oyo PDP denies any alliance with APC

The ruling People's Democratic Party in Oyo State has called it a false media report (not The PUNCH) that it has formed an alliance with the main opposition party , All Progressives Congress in the state.< /p>

This was revealed in a statement Thursday by Oyo PDP Publicity Secretary Akeem Olatunji.

The statement reads: "The Oyo State PDP would like to draw the attention of the general public to the news circulating that the Oyo State PDP is supporting the candidate of Congress of All Progressives in the elections of March 11, 2023.

“We want to declare that there is no truth in this statement, as it is a perverse lie emanating from the desperate Oyo State APC leadership who accepted defeat before even the March 11 gubernatorial election.

The handle circulating this misinformation on Twitter @PDPVanguard is a pro-APC social media influencer account with no affiliation with the official PDP nationally and nationally.

“We therefore call on our many supporters and all lovers of good governance to come out in droves on Saturday, March 11, 2023 and vote for Seyi Makinde and all PDP candidates in the State House of Assembly elections. good works continue."
