Confirming the attack, Police Commissioner Adebowale Williams revealed at a press conference that a raid was carried out at his Diamond Hotel, Alakía Isebo in which 78 suspects were arrested

"In addition, during the raid, sophisticated firearms were recovered from inside hotel rooms and from the trunks of vehicles parked inside the hotel.
