OYO SUBEB Monitors 2nd Quarter Unified Exams

Chairman of the Universal Basic Education Board of Oyo State (SUBEB), Dr. Nureni Aderemi, says the board has started monitoring the second term unified exam in all primary schools of Oyo State.

Adeniran made this known on Wednesday while inspecting schools in the Ibadan local government area in the northeast of the state.

He said the reason for the review exercise was to ensure the simultaneous participation of all schools in the review process.

The president called on headteachers to ensure adherence to the timetable given to them by the state government.

He said the level of preparedness of schools and students was quite impressive.

Adeniran, who said the conduct was smooth, added that the efforts and arrangements put in place by the state government to print unified questionnaires for all schools in the state would ensure better student performance.

He said the introduction of a unified exam timetable and questions was intended to give more credibility to the exercise.

Adeniran said he was pleased that schools and students followed the exam instructions.
